They provide two 24 “bungees, two 12″ bungees, and six different connectors. What a concept! I find the best that works for me most of the time was one of 24 “bungee and attach the carabiner to both ends. Plug one end into a circle clip Walkydog Walkydog I left long and the internal springs are pretty much just allows the elasticity of the bungee cord .. and will not whiplash the dog if you must stop quickly I also have to give credit when I have a slingshot effect of rapid dogs -. give a slight boost to the bike when the dog will very quickly I do not even ride my Wee! Also bungee which reduces the force that can Dog Leash for Bike loose torque clamp I use this for most of my dog ??run., but the Boxers are easily distracted I use non-stretch cord to limit their side / rear access.

3) I always use a safety belt or harness, dog harness on the dog’s chest because I want them to pull their bosoms and not with their necks. D-ring on the back of the saddle is where I will attach a carabiner bungee mentioned above.

4) At the top I put the harness on the dog’s safety vest. I bought a yellow one on Amazon that works very well because the loop of the dog and allows the back to be open to the use of seat belt D-ring (note to self: remember to review the yellow safety vest because it is the best I found). Safety vest may sound like overkill, but in this age of cell phones and driving Toyota can not escape me too careful when it comes to taking care of someone elses dog.

5) I Walkydog mount so that the dog is always on my left. I have found that the road is always a potential injury waiting to happen such as nails, glass, sharp objects, etc. are not good for dogs paws.

6) No matter how tight I tighten the clamp, I still have a few dogs that can move the bike rack and Walkydog not parallel. A small piece of bicycle inner tube wrapped multiple times under the clamps may work better than a piece of vinyl Walkydog supplied with the product.

With this configuration, I have had much success going vehicle with a different dog. Dogs are attractive or have lots of energy will be a good candidate for this product and it has saved my arm from getting stretched and stressed.
