Petego Walky Dog Hands-Free Bicycle Leashes Dog-Leash for Bike
Petego Walky Dog Hands-Free Bicycle Leashes Dog Leash for Bike
I am a professional petsitter and I have to express this product as one of the pet-related item I’ve ever used best in a long time. It is very well made, easy to use and does what it promises. In just a few months, I’ve used this in about 10-12 different dogs and it works great. I even have the credit for reviving my interest in a bike that has been reduced in recent years, but it’s a different story.
The dogs that I run with this Dog Leash for Bike including Border Collie, Greyhound, Red Bone Coonhound, 3 Boxers, Jack Russell terrier, Maltese mix, Shih Tzu, Dashund mixture, mix Golden Retriever, and a few others I can not remember now. During the dog is active and in good health with the weather cooperate, than I can not imagine why anyone would not use this product. You get done faster and more tired dog, then you can work fast or go see a film that is faster and possibly avoid chewing the furniture from the dog with too much pent-up energy.
I must say that for some dogs can be challenging to use. Aggressive dogs or dogs are easily distracted (two of my boxers take care of easily distracted) so you may need to consider how many days did you ride to avoid too much traffic from other dog walkers like 18:00 when everyone is home and walk their dogs at the the same. To Boxers, I have to also use ordinary rope 6 ‘long attached to their necks and holding it in my hands every time they get distracted and pop it a little every time they try to go behind me or to my side chasing squirrels / cats / dogs.

Since I have a variety of dogs to be used with Dog Leash for Bike, I have to make it more flexible for different sizes I will face and so I will list the equipment that I use in conjunction with Walkydog and maybe some of these items will help you with your dog.
1) my Trek bike rack mounted to the back of my seat and the posting of Walkydog mount bike rack to the trunk between the clamp and quick release rack is real. I find that when pedaling, hit the back of my legs below the seatpost stem Walkydog even if I tilted my rod away. Walkydog mounted further back on the bike rack just a few inches and it works great bike rack attachment is almost the same diameter as that seat post clamp Walkydog work well on it too. I did not get my Trek on the Amazon shelf, but they have a variety of different brands you can use instead.
2) Due to the different heights of all the dogs, I need to extend the cable length is provided by Walkydog. I found in Hxxx Depot (Amazon also sells this) Smart Bungee system with Joubert and an extreme bargain at only $ 1.75 for ten pieces that allow the user to attach a carabiner or increase the length of bungee cord by simply snapping them together. They provide two 24 “bungees, two 12″ bungees, and six different connectors. What a concept! I find the best that works for me most of the time was one of 24 “bungee and attach the carabiner to both ends. Plug one end into a circle clip Walkydog Walkydog I left long and the internal springs are pretty much just allows the elasticity of the bungee cord .. and will not whiplash the dog if you must stop quickly I also have to give credit when I have a slingshot effect of rapid dogs -. give a slight boost to the bike when the dog will very quickly I do not even ride my Wee! Also bungee which reduces the force that can Dog Leash for Bike loose torque clamp I use this for most of my dog ??run., but the Boxers are easily distracted I use non-stretch cord to limit their side / rear access.
3) I always use a safety belt or harness, dog harness on the dog’s chest because I want them to pull their bosoms and not with their necks. D-ring on the back of the saddle is where I will attach a carabiner bungee mentioned above.
4) At the top I put the harness on the dog’s safety vest. I bought a yellow one on Amazon that works very well because the loop of the dog and allows the back to be open to the use of seat belt D-ring (note to self: remember to review the yellow safety vest because it is the best I found). Safety vest may sound like overkill, but in this age of cell phones and driving Toyota can not escape me too careful when it comes to taking care of someone elses dog.
5) I Walkydog mount so that the dog is always on my left. I have found that the road is always a potential injury waiting to happen such as nails, glass, sharp objects, etc. are not good for dogs paws.
6) No matter how tight I tighten the clamp, I still have a few dogs that can move the bike rack and Walkydog not parallel. A small piece of bicycle inner tube wrapped multiple times under the clamps may work better than a piece of vinyl Walkydog supplied with the product.
With this configuration, I have had much success going vehicle with a different dog. Dogs are attractive or have lots of energy will be a good candidate for this product and it has saved my arm from getting stretched and stressed. I hope these words have been highlighted products and do not be discouraged if your dog does not work the first time. Just walk your dog on a bike so he learned not to fear, and instead end up trying to rise slowly beside the dog. I have done this successfully with superslow dogs and dogs who want to go back to the future so do not get discouraged and eventually you’ll both have fun with Petego Walky Dog Hands-Free Bicycle Leash!
